I want to be sure you completely understand how short-term rentals work and the various property rules, mandated both by the state & local governments as well as property insurance, with which you must comply.
Booking a reservation means that you understand and explicitly accept these rules.
- You agree that occupancy (inside or outside) will be limited to the number of people on the reservation.
- Please be sure the number in your reservation is accurate, something that is quite important for safety, emergency, and insurance purposes.
- Unauthorized visitors are not permitted at any time.
- You agree not to host a party or "gathering."
- You certify that you are over the age of 18 and also that anyone in your group that is under the age of 18 is be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- You agree to adhere to neighborhood quiet hours: midnight to 10am on weekends and 10pm to 9am on weekdays.
You agree that any violation of these rules will result in immediate escalation to the local authorities and a minimum fee of $1000.
Further,
- You agree not to have a pet on or in the premises unless they are documented in your reservation.
- There is a $250 fee for each un-registered pet that is found to have been in or on the property.
- Guests with service animals: there is no fee; I just would like to be aware that you have a pet.
I am not just your host, I am the homeowner and I am often in residence (my private area of the home adjoins your space). This is a quiet neighborhood with strict quiet hours and my neighbors and I keep a close watch on things.
Respectfully,
Laura Walker, your host
